Why Sol Haus Society?
Sol Haus Society was created from a simple belief. Everyone deserves to feel seen, supported and safe in their own journey.
A society built on patience, connection and genuine care. Where growth is nurtured at your pace, your voice matters and you are never just another number.
Here, support means walking beside you, not ahead of you. Here, you are held, valued and understood.
Welcome to something bigger than support.
Welcome to Sol Haus Society!
At Sol Haus Society, we provide support grounded in connection, trust and showing up as real people. We support children, teens and adults, taking the time to understand your world, your routines, your environment and what helps you feel safe and comfortable. From there, we build support around you in a way that feels natural, consistent and genuinely supportive.
Our team, known as Sol Mentors, are steady, familiar faces. We prioritise consistency so you are not constantly adjusting to new people. We show up as our honest selves, building real relationships where trust can grow over time. We want families to feel they are in safe hands, supported by people who genuinely care, who will stand alongside them, advocate when needed and walk with them through every stage.
We provide individualised support tailored to your needs, including in home, community based and social support designed to empower you to thrive in daily life. Our services are inclusive of most diagnoses, with a strong focus on skill development, community engagement and fostering independence. We work collaboratively alongside your existing supports, including allied health professionals and therapists, to ensure care feels connected and consistent.
We prioritise creating a safe, supportive and nurturing environment where you feel valued and understood. We take pride in carefully matching you with the right Sol Mentor, because meaningful connections lead to the strongest outcomes. Our support is designed to promote independence, wellbeing and community participation through genuine engagement and ongoing growth.
Sol Services
Our supports are flexible and shaped around each individual, with a balance across emotional support, daily routines and community connection.
How We Mentor
We support the flow of everyday life within the home, from getting ready for the day to winding down in the evening. We focus on creating structure and routines that feel calm, manageable and sustainable.
Support at home & daily routines
We support participants to step into the community with confidence, whether that’s attending appointments, engaging in social activities or exploring new environments at a pace that feels right for them.
Community Access & Social Connection
We provide consistent, calm support to help participants understand and manage their emotions. Using practical and proven strategies, we work through challenges together in a way that feels safe, respectful and supportive.
Emotional Regulation & Behavioural Support
Through everyday moments, we support the development of practical life skills that build confidence and independence over time.
Skill Building & Independence
We offer both individual and small shared supports, depending on what feels most comfortable and beneficial.
1:1 & Shared Supports
We don’t take a clinical or one size fits all approach.
We are real people and we show up that way. We build genuine relationships, stay consistent and create spaces where participants feel safe, understood and supported to be themselves.
We use real, practical tools that we have seen work across different environments and we adapt them to suit each individual. We don’t just talk about strategies, we implement them, support them and stand alongside each person as they grow.
We work closely with families, carers and allied health professionals to ensure support is aligned, meaningful and focused on real outcomes. We also advocate when needed, making sure each person’s needs are heard and respected.
