Meet The Sol Mentors
The Face Behind Sol Haus SocietyAli Rive
My name is Ali. I am the founder of Sol Haus Society.
At my core, I am a dancer. Movement, music, and expression have always been a huge part of my life. I continue to train, teach, compete, and perform. This journey has shaped the way I see the world while influencing how I connect with others. I find genuine joy in movement. It allows people to express themselves, build confidence, and feel a sense of freedom. That same energy flows into the way I support my clients every day.
Outside of my work, I am someone who loves deeply. I am an animal lover, a foodie, and someone who seeks out new experiences. I bring a calm yet uplifting presence into every space. I hold a natural drive to lead, guide, and inspire those around me.
I have worked within the disability space for over eight years. During this time, I have collaborated closely with early childhood educators, key workers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and support coordinators. This has provided a strong foundation of knowledge alongside hands on experience across a wide range of needs. These include sensory support, physical support, social development, emotional regulation, and skill development.
My approach is grounded in movement, connection, and real life application. I focus on creating safe and engaging environments where clients can build lifelong skills in ways that feel natural and enjoyable. Through this approach, I have developed strong trust and meaningful relationships with the people I support.
I have experience supporting individuals with a wide range of diagnoses including autism, PDA, GDD, BPD, cerebral palsy, intellectual impairment, ADHD, hypertonia, epilepsy, and mental health challenges. I have supported both verbal and non verbal individuals. I also hold a strong understanding of NDIS plans, funding categories, and the importance of working closely with families alongside allied health teams to achieve meaningful outcomes.
Sol Haus Society was created from a place of purpose. I wanted to build something that felt different. A space where people feel safe, supported, and truly seen. A place where support is calm, intentional, and built on genuine connection.
I am deeply passionate about walking alongside people through their journey. I support growth, build confidence, and help create lives that feel fulfilling and accessible. This is more than work to me. It is about making a real difference in real lives.
Sol Haus Society is more than a name. It is a part of my soul.
Sol MentorChloe Cole
Hi, I’m Chloe. I’ve lived on the Gold Coast my whole life and growing up surrounded by nature has played a big part in shaping who I am today. It’s where I’ve found a sense of grounding and connection and a love for staying active.
My background began in competitive gymnastics and acrobatics which naturally led me into coaching. Over the years I’ve worked as a gymnastics coach and have supported people through disability support in one on one settings, particularly through tumbling and trampolining. For me, it’s never just about the skills. It’s about building confidence, creating a sense of trust and celebrating progress in all its forms. I love supporting people to feel capable, understood and confident in themselves.
Outside of work I spend a lot of time with my dog, training and continuing to learn alongside him. I’m currently completing a Diploma in Dog Training and Canine Behaviour which reflects my interest in patience, connection and understanding behaviour. I also enjoy time in the gym and getting outdoors with friends, especially on 4WD and camping trips where I feel most at home.
Connection is at the centre of everything I do. I genuinely value building strong, meaningful relationships with the people I support. I aim to create a space where people feel comfortable, heard and supported as they work towards their goals. Whether that looks like building confidence, developing skills or simply having someone alongside them, I’m there to support each step along the way.
Sol MentorJack Kenworthy
Hi, I’m Jack. I’m 24 years old, a proud Gold Coast local who has lived here my entire life.
I’m a father to three amazing kids who keep me on my toes while giving my life a strong sense of purpose. Being a parent has taught me a lot about myself, along with the importance of positive support, especially in early development. I believe the role we play in supporting others, particularly younger people, is more impactful than we often realise.
I’ve been working in the disability support industry since 2021. During this time, I’ve developed a genuine passion for my work. I enjoy seeing growth in the people I support, from small steps through to major milestones. Every win matters, I take pride in celebrating each one alongside my clients.
I’m a big movie fan who enjoys a good chat about films. I like staying active through sport. Recently, I’ve taken up building LEGO, which has become a fun, creative outlet.
I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live a quality life in a way that feels right for them. I aim to be a supportive, reliable presence as a friend, mentor, a positive role model.
Joining Sol Haus Society felt like a natural step. It allows me to keep growing, expand my impact in the community, also build meaningful connections along the way. I’m always open to learning new things, trying new experiences. I hope to inspire that same mindset in others.
Sol Mentor Khodie (Koko) Edmonds
Kia ora (hello), my name is Koko. I’m based in the heart of Brisbane, originally from Aotearoa New Zealand. I moved over in 2018 to grow my love for dance and somewhere along the way I found a home here.
Dance has always been a strong presence in my life. It has guided me, grounded me and shaped who I am today in ways I’ll always be grateful for.
While dance is a big part of my world, I also enjoy a balance of different experiences, from calm and restorative moments through to challenges that push me to grow. I believe everything is better when shared and I value connection, new experiences and the journey that comes with them.
Joining Sol Haus felt like a natural alignment. I connected deeply with the purpose, the intention and the way Sol creates space not just for individuals but for community as a whole
